Rudy J Pesik, Lahir di Singapura pada tanggal 2 April 1941, Bapak Pesik merupakan lulusan dari Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) jurusan Teknik Mesin dan Teknik Industri. Dia memiliki 2 gelar teknik lagi dari Belanda dan satu gelar teknik dari Inggris. Dia juga menerima penghargaan Honorary Asia Engineer. Ia menikah dengan seorang putra (seorang insinyur kelautan dari ITB) dan seorang putri (Ph.D. di bidang elektronika / telekomunikasi) dengan empat cucu dan satu cucu perempuan.
Bapak Pesik memulai karirnya sebagai Direktur Jenderal Industri Maritim di bawah Menteri Mardanus dan Presiden Soekarno 1964-1965. Ia kemudian melanjutkan studinya di IT dan Industri Maritim di Belanda.
Selama 1965-1968 dia bekerja untuk IBM Belanda sebagai insinyur Sistem. Dia memasang sistem haagsche courant dan sistem Farmasi di Belanda, sistem Whole Sale & Retail Trade di Belgia dan Prancis, sistem Keuangan di Swedia dan Denmark. Sistem Maskapai di Inggris dan sistem Parlemen di Austria.
Beliau kembali ke Indonesia pada tahun 1968 sebagai IBM Indonesia Systems Engineer. Dia menjual dan memasang semua unit IT Pertamina, Caltex dan Stanvac. Ia juga memasang sistem IT untuk Polri, TNI AL dan seluruh BUMN, termasuk Pusri, Djiwasraya, seluruh Bank BUMN, dan Garuda Airlines. Sistem Reservasi dan Sistem Pemeliharaan. Atas semua prestasi dan prestasinya, ia dianugerahi penghargaan IBM Asia Pacific Top Performar pada tahun 1969 di Hongkong.

Born in Singapore on April 2, 1941, Mr. Pesik graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering. He has 2 more engineering degrees from Holland and one engineering degrees from the UK. He also received the honorary Asia Engineer award. He is married with one son (an oceanic engineer from ITB) and one daughter (Ph.D. in electronics/ telecommunications) with four grandsons and one grand daughter.
Mr. Pesik started his career as Director General of Maritime Industries under Minister Mardanus and President Soekarno 1964-1965. He then continued his studies in IT and Maritime Industries in the Netherlands.
During 1965-1968 he worked for IBM Netherlands as Systems engineer. He installed the haagsche courant system and the Pharmaceutical system in Holland, the Whole Sale & Retail Trade system in Belgium and France, the Finance system in Sweden and Denmark. The Airlines System in the UK and the Parliament system in Austria.
Mr. Pesik returned to Indonesia in 1968 as IBM Indonesia Systems Engineer. He sold and installed all IT units of Pertamina, Caltex and Stanvac. He Also installed IT systems for National Police, Navy and all Govt owned enterprises, including Pusri, Djiwasraya, all State Owned Banks, and Garuda Airlines. Reservation System and Maintenance System. For all his achievements and performence, he was awarded the IBM Asia Pacific Top Performar award in 1969 in Hongkong.
